Mega Power Star RamCharan Talks About His Wife Upasana!!
“She’s my soulmate,” says Ram Charan Tej, who is about to tie the knot with close friend of almost seven years Upasana.
The wedding will take place in Hyderabad. Since he can take just a weeklong break from his shooting commitments, the honeymoon will be deferred to mid-2012.
Ram Charan agrees he has been denying the rumours about seeing Upasana and kept claiming to be just “good friends”. “We didn’t want to hurt our parents’ feelings. We wanted to make our relationship public only after the consent of both families. I am ready for a new turn in my life,” says the actor.
“We informed our parents seven months ago. Besides giving their nod, they allowed us to spend more time together, either at her place or mine and I got to know more about her. In fact I was floored by her philanthropic activities and feelings for human beings and animals. Gradually, this had an effect on me,” he smiles.
He found her to be the ideal partner even when they were just friends. “When we were in a group, she used to show a personal interest in me and was very supportive. I realised that I could strike a perfect work-life balance and lead a peaceful life with such an understanding companion,” he says. One romantic song that he would like to sing for his fiancée is Rooba Rooba number from Orange.
About his fiancée coming from a wealthy family and an equal social standing, unlike many star wives who are simple girls, he says, “I love individualistic, independent, professional girls. I feel nothing will come between two professionals who intend to retain their personal space and freedom. If we don’t try to meddle with each other’s work, then the bond is bound to be strong.”
Is she is a movie buff? “Not a typical movie buff but she loves watching Yash Raj movies which have romance,” he adds.
The actor is a known shopaholic and has recently travelled to Colombo and Bangkok. But he did not buy anything for his fiancée because “shopping for a woman is a daunting task.”
“However, I personally selected an exquisite earrings set that my parents gifted her,” he adds.
Charan is also busy learning Polo. “It’s an exciting sport, but quite difficult. Even after months of coaching, I am still an amateur,” he says.

Ram Charan Tej has been in the media glare for more reasons. Be it because of his engagement and marriage with Upasna Kamineni or his buying Hyderbad Polo team and it winning the Hyderabad Polo Season 2011. Now, the mega power star will be greeting the small screen audiences more often than not for endorsing mobile phone service provider Tata Docomo. The campaign will begin on September 7 and Charan will be seen on hoardings, print and electronic media promoting the same. The actor did a photo shoot in this regard earlier at a luxurious hotel in Hyderabad. The mega scion did a similar campaign for Airtel and Pepsi, some time back. Bollywood’s most eligible bachelor Ranbir Kapoor is endorsing Tata Docomo in national level.
CBI to interrogate Ram Charantej and Mahesh Babu
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officials are likely to grill Ram Charan Tej, Mahesh Babu and his wife Namrata as part of their investigation in the Emaar Properties case. According to sources, Mahesh and Ram Charan are learnt to have received notices from the CBI following their investment in the Emaar Properties. Minister Galla Aruna’s daughter Galla Padmavathi and other bigwigs will also be quizzed in this regard. The CBI officials will interrogate Mahesh on September 14, Charan on September 15 and Padmavathi on September 16. It may be mentioned that the CBI started probing into the Emaar land deals following the Andhra Pradesh High Court orders.

Sleuths of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) will quiz actor Ram Charan Teja in connection with the Emaar case. It has reportedly issued notices for the above mentioned actor.
If reports are to be believed, Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar will be questioned on September 14 and Ram Charan Teja on September 15. They are under scanner for buying houses, which are developed by Emaar MGF at Gacchibowli, Hyderabad. The CBI has already interrogated Mr. Vijaya Sai Reddy, the vice-chairman of Jagathi Publications.
It is alleged that they bought the land for Rs 5,000 per sq. yd, when the registration fees itself were Rs 12,000.

Ram Charan’s engagement at Domakonda Fort
It is known news that Ram Charan Teja will soon be getting married to upasana and the engagement is likely to take place in December.Now, the latest buzz is upasana's family is Planning to hold the engagement at Domakonda Fort ,Which is one of the beautiful fort in Telangana Region situated in Nizambad district.
Domakonda Gadi Samsthan rulers are Kamineni family and the place currently belongs to Umapathi Kamineni, maternal grandfather of Upasana. The arrangements for the engagement is have already started and the renovation works are being carried in the fort, which is built in 18th century.
